Today, with over 20 million registered active users, Twitter has grown to become a dominant force in the social media sphere. It has also been the reason behind dozens of similar spinoffs that share the same vision as the original application. Pic-o-Twit is one of these.
Pic-O-twit is an app that allows users to upload their preferred pictures to Twitpic (the visual image of Twitter) using their phones from several different locations. Released in the final months of 2010, Pic-O-Twit already shows great promise and could very well grow to becoming a popular option amongst WP7 users. In other to successfully use Pic-O-Twit, people will need to ensure that their phone possesses a data connection, a web browser and a media library. You will also of course need to have pictures.
Pic-O-Twit is an efficient photo program. Although it does not score very highly on the visuals department, it does offer incredible speed and reliable connectivity. Most people will be impressed with how easily it allows them to share their pictures online.
Sometimes the best applications are not the best looking ones or those that offer the most features. Instead, the award is reserved for those applications that advertise certain services and perform them remarkably well. Pic-O-Twit is one of those. It doesn’t look particularly great or offer too much outside a handful of functions. But for the millions of Twitter users and lovers out there, it’s a sure winner.

Say you’re in a bind to find a good restaurant for you and your date within 24 hrs, it’s got an invaluable feature that provides you with 20 of the closest available restaurants that can cater to your needs. OpenTable also offers you further assistance with the inclusion of ratings and reviews that you can use when making your eventual decisions.
OpenTable is fairly easy to use. All that people will need to do is specify the day and time that they wish to go out on dinner as well as provide related details such as the size of their dining troupe. Once these details are provided, OpenTable compiles a list of the different available restaurants sorted by their proximity.
With over 14,000 different restaurants located across two continents, OpenTable is a fairly formidable dining ally. Sadly, its efficiency is not spread equally across every locations. Just to be clear, the Math Tutor is indeed an educational app that is designed to help kids learn how to successfully com perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. Like most children educational app, it achieves this with the use of friendly, easy to use lessons and guides.
The good news about the Math Tutor is that there is very little that is wrong with it. After going through several versions (the current version is 2.1.0.0) the app has become a brightly polished gem in the world of uncut apps. The publishers of the app have had time to improve on the tutorials and have even had time to add a ‘word problem’ feature as well as ‘Week Days’ and ‘Calendar Months’ teaching options that will prove invaluable. Most children will quickly come to appreciate the benefits of using the app and several more might actually come to fall in love with it over their phones.
The Math Tutor isn’t pretty. There isn’t anything novel or aesthetically pleasing about its interface. But considering the general aim of the app, this is actually a good thing. When it comes to learning math, distractions are rarely a good thing.
All told, the Math Tutor is a great app to have for your kids. There is a difficultly option that will allow you to increase the challenge for each section. The included word problems alongside the user friendly interface, will make it easy for your kids to quickly improve their confidence in solving math problems. So is the Math Tutor worth the download and should you get it for your kids? To answer that you will need to consider the following. With the use of the app, you’ll be able to find out exactly who is representing you in the government. Congress takes into consideration the location of your phone. You will therefore also be able to find out the lawmaker that is responsible for the area you are in.
Congress is accompanied with a search feature that allows you browse for particular lawmakers based on their name, state or committee. Some of the information found in the Human Body facts will merely be interesting (i.e. the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body relative to size) while others might provide more relevant details about the human body (e.g. there are 37,000 miles of capillaries in the body). Regardless of what the facts might be, there is little doubt that most people will come to appreciate reading the information found in the app.
The Human Body Facts app can be downloaded for free via the Zune program. There are several features that are introduced to make the use of the app easier. For instance, people will be able to group choose their favorite facts for faster reference. They will also be able to share the different facts with their friends via either email or text.
For sheer entertainment the Human Body Facts is a great app to have in your phone. Although it does not win very many points for the design of its interface, most people will quickly get over this lapse and come to love the app for the information it provides. Both features will largely be affected by your choice in phone. The higher the luminosity of the phone, the brighter the light will eventually be. You’ll also be able to get some significant battery power if you phone already boasts great energy saving features.
The flashlight 7 is similar in many ways to other versions that can be found on competing devices such as the blackberry, Android and the iPhone. However it easily matches—and in some cases excels—the efficiency of these apps with its ease of use and thoughtful arsenal of features. The design of the app allows you to increase it by swiping on the screen. It can also be set to remain unaffected by the phone’s lock screen.
However, there is more behind the Flashlight 7 than just its bright white light. You can also choose from a number of different lighting options. Say you want to illuminate your room in bright yellow light; you’ll find options for that with the flashlight7. Maybe you just want to have some fun with the flashing colors of ‘police lights’ you’ll find options that cater to this end as well.

Developed by the same named company, Fandango can be used for a lot more than finding out about the different movies being showed in theatres around you.
